Super-skill: appropriate stickering

Here is a user experience super skill; how to apply sticky notes without them bending terribly.

I use this to illustrate the true UX super-skill – being curious about people, and trying to learn from them, in order to make things work better.

Most people peel sticky notes from the bottom of the stack; this results in poor stickering, with the sticker pointing out horribly.  See this example:

A poorly pulled post-it.

Instead, pull the top sticker away from one side; this results in a clean removal from the stack.

Correct technique — pull from the side.

…and the finished result is a cleanly applied sticky note.

End result: great stickering.
